Cebu Lechon

Mother’s Day is the perfect time to show our gratitude to all moms. What better way to celebrate her special day than to treat her to a delightful family celebration, where she can feast on a wide variety of culinary specialities, without having to lift a finger to prepare the food?


This coming May 7 and 8 (Saturday and Sunday), Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu invites you to its weekend celebration of Mother’s Day at The Sails restaurant, featuring sumptuous buffet spreads for brunch and dinner.

Fresh seafood

The main highlights of the brunch special are its luscious medley of ocean fresh bounty, a variety of sushi and salad choices, dim sum delights, crepe station, and a selection of meats that includes Cebu’s Lechon Belly. Brunch is served from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm.

Dim Sum

Rounding up the dinner menu are Asia’s culinary highlights. Tickle your taste buds with the robust flavours and aromatic spices from Vietnam, Singapore and Thailand, the seasoned noodles and sensible bites from Korea and Japan, and the delectable fare from the great wok of China. Add to these the unique delicacies from the varied cultures and traditions of the Philippines. Dinner buffet opens at 6.30 pm and closes at 10.30 pm.

Crepe Station

The Mother’s Day weekend brunch and dinner buffets are each priced at PHP 1,800.00 nett per person, inclusive of free-flowing sparkling wine, soft drinks and juices. Children aged 5 to 11 years old are given a 50% discount, while children 4 years old and below dine for free. Each mom gets a surprise gift from the hotel as a way of expressing appreciation and thanks.
