The Philippine Book Development Federation, Inc. (Philbook) recently held its Special Board Meeting on June 22 at the REX Knowledge Center in Quezon City. Philbook is a group of national associations involved in book publishing and book-related activities.

In the recently held meeting, several matters affecting the book publishing industry were tackled. The member-associations likewise presented updates on their respective activities and concerns.

The Philbook meeting was highlighted by the presentation of Resolution to its President Atty. Dominador D. Buhain in recognition of his re-election in two international associations: as the President of Asia Pacific Publishers Association (APPA) and First Vice-President of the Forum of Asia Pacific Graphic Arts (FAPGA). The re-election of Atty. Buhain recognizes his important role both in publishing and printing associations in the Philippines.
