Audio technology giant JBL® justdropped a mid-year upgrade for users at both ends of the consumer audio spectrum. The brand is launching a new pair of truly wireless earphones, as well as a new line of party speakers with exciting features under the hood.
UPGRADE YOUR PARTIES WITH THE JBL PARTYBOX
The new JBL PartyBox 1000 and JBL PartyBox 100 take JBL’s epic lightshows and deliver it in a bigger package with more powerful audio.
Both models feature Bluetooth connectivity, as well as USB and 3.5mm aux inputs. There are also quarter-inch mic and instrument inputs, making the PartyBox range useful for quick guitar gigs. Two PartyBox speakers can be linked wirelessly to fill bigger spaces with rich, thumping beats.
The gargantuan JBL PartyBox 1000 offers more than just big sound. Retailing at PhP57,900, this bad boy has extra inputs, controls, effects for karaoke, and an integrated 4×4 DJ launchpad. There’s even an air gesture wristband so you can man the controls from a distance. It’s the perfect visual and aural centerpiece for a bangin’ party setup.
Its smaller sibling—the JBL PartyBox 100—leans more towards portability. That does not mean though, that it does not mean serious business. Priced at PhP18,999, its 2,500mAh battery lets you party anywhere for up to 12 hours without needing to plug in.
UPGRADE YOUR MOBILE LISTENING EXPERIENCE WITH TRULY WIRELESS HEADPHONES
JBL jumped right into the true wireless craze last year with the JBL Free. This time, they’re upping the ante with the JBL Tune 120TWS.
Straight out of the box, the new JBL Tune 120TWS wows with Red Dot award-winning sleek looks. These earpieces let you listen to music, take calls, and work out without having to worry about tangled wires. And with interchangeable ear tips, everyone can enjoy an ergonomic fit—all for only PhP5,999.
They carry 4 hours of continuous playtime, with extra 12 hours on the ready via the charging case. 15 minutes in the case gives it enough juice to run for an hour. A full charge takes two hours.
All bells and whistles aside, the sound quality is where the new JBL Tune 120TWS truly shines. 5.88mm drivers deliver rich sounds with JBL’s signature punchy bass response. The well-modulated midrange gives vocals and guitars a bit more presence. At the upper frequencies, there is exceptional clarity without the ear-splitting shrill.
Controls come in a few intuitive buttons—the left earpiece lets you change tracks, while the right handles calls and music playback. They also have access to Google Assistant and Siri for a truly hands-free experience.
A NEW FACE, NEW SOUND FOR JBL
Aside from the launch of new wireless devices, JBL scores another major upgrade as singer and multi-instrumentalist Jayda Zaragosa signs as the brand’s newest ambassador. She joins Gretchen Ho in being the voice of the brand, especially to today’s youth.
According to Larry Secreto, Country Manager of Harman International – Phil Rep Office, Jayda represents the current generation of everyday extraordinaires—JBL users who are passionate and ambitious with their everyday hustle. Jayda swears by JBL’s wireless technology, enjoying music on the road through her JBL Tune 120TWS earphones. For more serious revelries or better musical appreciation with friends and family, she makes extensive use of her JBL PartyBox 1000 speaker.
