J&T Express and WorldVision recently brought he holiday cheer to some 30 children, all between the ages of 5 to 7 years old. The children were all from the Baseco Port in Manila.
The partnership was in line with J&T Express’ corporate social responsibility of helping children in need by giving a chance to enjoy the warmth and spirit of the season. The kids were joined by 11 volunteers from J&T Express. During the event, they were treated to a lunch, games and gift-giving. The children also performed a dance number as part of the program’s intermission.
The kids belonged to the community that the global foundation regularly supported. The company chose WorldVision since it has long been catering to the needs of underprivileged children in the country and around the world.

We are J&T Express share the same mission with WorldVision of helping children in need,” said Zoe Chi, Vice President of J&T Express Philippines. “We want to give these kids a chance to feel the true spirit of the season by allowing them to enjoy the love and generosity from others.”
