Singing Cosplayer Hikari, who made her debut on New Year’s Day 2021, has been active in sending out videos and photos of “JAPANESE CULTURE” to the world by cosplaying characters from anime, games, Vocaloid, etc. and singing cover songs related to those works.
She has been communicating mainly through SNS (YouTube/Instagram/Facebook/TikTok/Twitter). In just over two months since our debut, she has received a much greater response than she expected. So, on the day of her birthday, Thursday, April 29th, she decided to hold her first mini live at Shibuya Take Off 7,Tokyo,Japan. And also,in order to receive support for part of the funding for her May-June activities, she started crowdfunding for Japan from March 5 using CAMPFIRE, and has just started for the whole world on March 10 using Kickstarter.
Singing Cosplayer Hikari started out with the concept of “singing while cosplaying”, but due to the difficulty of the concept in terms of rights, only two of the nine cover songs she recorded and produced were approved by the rights holders. Her Evangelion-related cover song videos in which she sang while cosplaying as Rei Ayanami currently are not available to the public, but they have been viewed over 1.1 million times on YouTube in the 20 days since New Year’s Day, and her two Vocaloid-related videos have each been viewed over 320,000 times on YouTube.
And she has been highly praised by fans of anime songs and Vocaloid songs all over the world. On YouTube, the channel has received a great response, with more than 6,000 subscribers in just over two months.

-[COVER] Senbonzakura / Kurousa P Feat. Hatsune Miku
She has been creating sound sources, videos, and photos with the desire to deliver high quality ones to everyone around the world.
However, the funds for her activities have been raised from her personal savings. In order to maintain the production quality in the future, there is a limit to the amount of money she can raise with her personal savings. Therefore, she decided to call for support through crowdfunding.
Since it is difficult in many cases to obtain permission from the rights holders, she announced a change in concept on February 28 and changed the original concept of “singing while cosplaying” to ” cosplaying, singing and transmitting JAPANESE CULTURE” and are preparing to upload various photos, videos and sound sources.
She has prepared several rewards for her supporters through Kickstarter.
-Amount of support: 3,000 yen (mini photo book)
The first mini-photobook (B5 color, 16 pages) with her signature and unpublished random photos will be offered as a set.
-Amount of support: 2,000 yen (mini live on video on demand)
The mini-live on April 29th will be filmed with three cameras and edited to be provided as video-on-demand at a later date. In addition, the real-time live performance on that day will be distributed free of charge using one fixed camera.
-Amount of support: 1,000 yen (digital photos used in the mini photo book)
She will send you a digital copy of the photos used in the “1st Mini Photo Book”, which is the return for “3,000 yen”.
In addition to the above, Kickstarter also allows non-reward support (pledges) from a minimum of 100 yen, so please support the activities of Singing Cosplayer Hikari. The more support she can get, the better she will be able to continue to produce her works.
Since she has the largest number of followers in Indonesia, she has released a video comment in Indonesian calling for support. In order to reach out to fans all over the world, she is planning to add subtitles in 18 languages, and currently the subtitles are available in 14 languages: Indonesian, English, Japanese, Arabic, Javanese, Spanish, Thai, Hindi, French, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
